Signs of our times

A life without signs? Impossible! Traffic signs, street signs, direction signs, name signs, turn left signs, no parking signs, advertising signs, warning signs, emergency escape signs, start signs, finish signs. Signs wherever we go. Signs which always have one thing in common: making a specific statement in as clear and as unmistakable a manner as possible.

They serve to tell us where we are and where we want to go, whether by car or by foot. They warn of snow falling from roofs and they give us all kinds of information. They also tell us what we must not do: No foods; No drinks; No smoking; Stop!; Helmets must be worn; Please take your shoes off! ...

Because these signs accompany us all through our lives, it is important to make sure they have a long service life and naturally also an attractive appearance. The material of aluminium was thus the natural solution. Optimum durability, ideal processing capability and great versatility in use.

Anodising gives the aluminium structures, signs and surfaces resistance to environmental influences. Colour designs can also be applied very easily and so help to give the respective statement the desired effect. Either screen printing or printing under the anodised coating can be used.

Yet again, aluminium shows the way!
