| Soldering |
 |
Soldering is a method for the permanent joining of metals. The temperature
during soldering is much lower than during welding so that only the solder
melts and creeps between the metal materials. We distinguish between
soft soldering using tin at temperatures of around 350°C and hard
soldering using silver solders at temperatures of more than 600°C.
