Reproduction and Printing

Reproduction

Repro-technique is a method of reproduction of 2-dimensional templates, such as text, graphics and photographs. It is the technical framework of the pre-press: visualizing picture material including typeface, screening of photos and electronic data for subsequent reproduction (reproduction of the original submission in the printing process).

Screen Printing

The screen printing (traditional: Serigraphy) is a printing process where the ink is being pressed through a textile screen (using a rubber) onto the material. Areas of the screen are blocked off with a non-permeable material to form a stencil, which is a negative of the image to be printed. The open spaces define where the ink will appear on the material.
